one piece per request
NOTES
- What are the bags made of?
- Italian calfskin — waxed, patinated or structured depending on the piece — with hand-shaped vine-wood handles and a cotton lining.
- Where does the vine wood come from?
- From the family vineyards in Chigny-les-Roses, Champagne, where the Gandon family has grown vines since 1625. Each handle is shaped by hand, so no two pieces are alike; each carries the origin of the vine it was taken from.
- Where are the bags made?
- Each piece is crafted in Paris by skilled artisans, preserving the natural character of the raw materials. Made in France.
- How do I order?
- Choose a piece and send a request — one piece per request, no payment at this stage. We answer personally within 48 hours with availability, lead time and price.
- Is each bag unique?
- Yes. The leather is the same across a piece, but every vine-wood handle has its own grain, curve and markings — no two bags are identical.
- How should I care for the leather and the wood?
- Wipe the calfskin with a soft dry cloth and keep it away from prolonged water; the leather is meant to develop a patina with time. The vine wood needs nothing more than a dry cloth.
